My first show at The Art of Oswego was a wonderful start to my new career. I received so much positive feedback - including a 3rd place prize for my work overall, and I sold my very first piece! It was an exciting day, made even better by the perfect weather and great visitor turnout. I also learned that it would have been better to have more time to practice setting up my display. Set-up on the morning of the fair was highly stressful as my husband and I tried to make a more stable configuration after a wall fell on top of me! Luckily, we figured it out, and finished set-up only 15 minutes late. I thought it was going to be much worse. So, we now have some ideas to tweek it, and make the process easier in the future.
We ended up going with a triangle configuration - figuring that would be the most stable. It worked out really well since the booth was open to visitors on all sides.
